of Noxon's Counseling ProgramMisson Statement:
The Noxon School Counseling Program believes in the individuality of its students. The Noxon School Counseling Program will assist all students in their life-long learning by assisting in the development of their academic, career, and personal-social growth through a partnership with the student, parents, teachers, and the community.
Philosophy Statements:
The Noxon K-12 School Counseling Program believes the following to be true for all students:
- All students should be treated with dignity and respect
- All students have the right to a safe, positive, nurturing environment
- All students have the right to a professional school counseling program that assists them in achieving their academic, career and personal-social goals
- All students have the right to achieve and be successful
- All students have the right to a post secondary plan
- All students have the right to professional collaboration between student and staff to promote success
- All students are important
It is further believed that the Noxon K-12 School Counseling Program will:
- Reach EVERY student
- Be comprehensive in scope
- Be preventive in design
- Be developmental in nature
- Be an integral part of a student's total educational program for success
- Abide by the ethics of the Montana School Counselor Association and the American School Counselor Asociation
- All students are important
