National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.
Noxon's chapter is the Mountaineer Chapter of the Society.
We would like to welcome Shelby Clark and Kathryn Chandler as
the newest members of the National Honor Society!
Some of our activities include:
Drug/Alcohol Awareness in the school: We coordinate Kick Butts Day and Red Ribbon Week here in the school. We create fun activities for the kids to show them how bad these substances are for them.
Highway Clean-up: Our chapter has adopted a section of highway that we clean up, usually every spring.
Law Enforcement Torch Run: In the spring we participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run to raise money for the Special Olympics.
