Mrs. Kristin Miller

Hi everyone!

I live just across the state line in Idaho with my husband Erick and my two children, Laurel and Colton. My daughter Laurel will be in eighth grade this year and my son Colton will be in fourth grade.

I was born in Alexandria, VA. I lived in Denton, North Carolina until I was twelve years old and then I moved to North Idaho with my family in 1992. I graduated from Clark Fork High School in 1999 and attended North Idaho College in Coeur d’ Alene ID. I completed the Elementary Education program there through the University of Idaho in 2004. After receiving that degree, I started subbing both in Idaho and Montana. I did most of my subbing at Noxon Schools.

In 2006, I started working at a local private school where I taught all of the English and History classes. I worked there until 2009 because I decided to go back to school to earn my Secondary Degree. I completed my student teaching at Noxon with Jenny Swant and loved it. I graduated with my degree in Secondary Social Science from Western Governors University. Between 2009 and 2013, I worked in a couple different private schools teaching English, History, and Science. In 2013, I started working at Sandpoint Christian school where I taught junior high. Once I found out Noxon had an opening for third grade, I was excited because I really loved all my time subbing at Noxon and I was ready to get back into public education. I have been teaching third grade for the past two years. I will now be teaching Kindergarten and Pre-K.

I am really looking forward to this school year with your child. I think we are going to have a great year full of education and fun!!! Please feel free to contact me anytime with any questions or concerns you may have.  Communication is so important with any Teacher/Parent relationship. Please don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me an email.
